IBR 2011 30 hour Shake-Down Rally

Come join The Rally for a shake-down ride before the 2011 IBR. This rally is limited to registered riders in the 2011 IBR. I am hosting this event no-cost, to assist riders before the June 20th event.

While this is not an official IBA event, I have consulted with Lisa Landry and Mike Kneebone to create a shake-down ride that will benefit IBR participants. The rally will consist of two legs, with a required five hour layover. Riders will conform to all 2011 IBR rules (Note: I will not require MedJetAssist, or similar, for this rally).

• Start location: Broken Arrow, OK.
• Leg 1:(bonni distributed): Friday, May 13th, 2011: 19:00 CDT (free hot dogs cookout)
• Leg 1:(start): Saturday, May 14th, 2011: 09:00 CDT
• Required Checkpoint : Saturday, May 14th, 2011: 23:00 CDT
• Leg 2 & start: (bonni distributed on the clock): Sunday May 14th, 04:00 CDT
• Rally end: Sunday, May 15th, 2011: 15:00 CDT
• DNF begins at 15:30:00 (penalty points accrue between 15:00:01 and 15:30:00).
• Banquet (optional) & awards ceremony: 18:00 (approximately) CDT
• End location: Broken Arrow, OK.

Once again, The Rally has teamed up with 'Hoagy' Carmichael to support Hoagy's Heroes and his long distance charity rides philanthropy. Your registration optionally allows you to support Hoagy's Heroes, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. After the rally, each rider will receive a donation receipt, that can be deducted from one's tax return.
